Jones, who was also selected to play in Saturday’s Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game in Pelham, Ala., was the Gators’ sparkplug in the tournament. He averaged 25.3 points and nine rebounds in the three games at the Mississippi Coliseum. In a 61-54 win over Starkville in the title game, he had 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Scott was the Gators’ leading rebounder throughout the season, and took his game up a notch in the Big House. He averaged 14 rebounds per game and also scored 16 points in a win over Moss Point. In the championship game, he had nine points and 14 rebounds.

Williams was a defensive specialist, but found his shooting touch at the Coliseum. He scored in double figures in two of the three games there.
