The Vicksburg Post prints obituaries for residents, former residents and residents’ immediate family members who resided elsewhere when notified by a family member or a funeral home. There is no charge for printing an obituary, but all are edited to meet the newspaper’s requirements.

Vincent James Nastri

Vincent James “Vinnie” Nastri died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 38.

A native of Lake Placid, Fla., Mr. Nastri had lived in Vicksburg since 2001 and was an equipment operator.

Survivors include his fiance, Patti Rose of Vicksburg; his mother, Barbra Actisdano of Sebring, Fla.; brothers; sisters; and other relatives and friends.

A prayer service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Johnson, Bruce Massey, Nathan Willoughby and Melvin Bedgood.

Mark Seepe Funeral Home of Jackson has charge of arrangements.
