Deloris Simpson Clavelle

Services for Deloris “Lolo” Simpson Clavelle will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roosevelt Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Clavelle died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. She was 58.

Mrs. Clavelle was a resident of Vicksburg and a nurse. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clavelle, and her parents, Roosevelt and Jennie B. Mitchell.

She is survived by one son, George Simpson of Huntsville, Ala.; one daughter, Mitchellene Simpson of Vicksburg; four brothers, Kenny Simpson of Hephzibah, Ga., and Johnny Simpson, Sam Simpson and Joe Simpson, all of Vicksburg; four sisters, Ella Lyles, Sandra Simpson and Shirley Simpson, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Delilah Simpson of Racine, Wis.; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives.

Gladys Rabb Guice

TALLULAH Gladys Rabb Guice died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at River Region West. She was 88.

Born in Wilkinson County, Miss., Mrs. Guice had been a Tallulah resident for 80 years. She was a housewife and had worked for the telephone company. She attended First United Methodist Church of Tallulah.

Survivors include two sisters, Vivian Rabb Cagnolatti and Elizabeth Rabb Crothers, both of Tallulah; a brother, Elmo Rabb of Tallulah; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Peter Judge

Services for Peter Judge will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Williams Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 6 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Judge died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at his home. He was 80.

A resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Judge was retired from Anderson-Tully.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lucy Judge; a brother, Dave Judge; and two sisters, Canary Fuller and Bernice King.

Survivors include his wife of Joliet, Ill.; seven children of Joliet; a brother, Arthur Judge of Vicksburg; a sister, Maggie Judge of Los Angeles; and other relatives and friends.

Jerry Fine Lambiotte

FRANKFORT, Mich. Jerry Fine Lambiotte died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Mich. He was 61.

Mr. Lambiotte was born in Fort Smith, Ark., to the late Albert and Joanne Lambiotte. He received a degree in chemical engineering from Tulane University in 1964. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

He was a former chemical process engineer, technical sales representative and research chemist. He was vice president of sales for Research Polymers Inc. until it was sold and he worked for Graceland Fruit in Frankfort.

Mr. Lambiotte served as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Arlington, Texas. He moved to Crystal Lake, Mich., in 1998 and joined the Crystal Lake Yacht Club, Congregational Summer Assembly and Crystal Downs Country Club. He served as a member of the Lake Township Planning Commission.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Lambiotte; a son, Jay Lambiotte; a daughter, Julie Lambiotte; two brothers, Joe Lambiotte and Larry Lambiotte, both of Vicksburg; a stepson, Doug Goodrich; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Kelly; two stepgranddaughters; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at First Congregational Church in Frankfort under the direction of McElduff Funeral Home.

Thomas Williams Sr.

Services for Thomas Williams Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Springhill M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Service.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. He was 86.

Mr. Williams retired after 38 years as a core drill operator at Waterways Experiment Station. He was a former employee of Baker Security. He was a member of Paragon Lodge No. 7 and Springhill M.B. Church, where he was a former member of the choir.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Charleston and Neppie Williams; a daughter, Connie Evelyn Williams; a son, Dwight Williams; six brothers, Austin Gibson, George Ellis Williams, Sam Charleston Jr., Roosevelt Charleston, Richard Charleston and Isiah Charleston; and a sister, Mary Lee Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Susie H. Williams of Vicksburg; three sons, Thomas Williams Jr. and Michael A. Williams, both of Hampton, Va., and Joe Samuel Williams of Vicksburg; four daughters, Gwendolyn Williams Strong and Linda Williams Sims, both of Vicksburg, Pamela Williams Ned of St. Louis, and Doris Jones of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Alfred Charleston and Leon Charleston, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two sisters, Willie B. Crump of Edwards and Rosalie Springs of Grand Rapids, Mich.; grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends, including the Hughes and Smith families.
