Kenneth James Carroll
GEORGETOWN, La. Kenneth James Carroll died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jackson. He was 38.
Born in Urania, La., Mr. Carroll had been a resident of Georgetown, La., most of his life. He retired from the Navy as a logistics specialist, having served in the Persian Gulf War. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Don and Susie Davis of Port Gibson; his father, Kenneth Carroll of Georgetown; two sisters, Teresa Earles of Ridgeland and Brandy Davis Chaney of Monroe; his maternal grandmother, Oreatice Morstz of Pineville, La.; his paternal grandmother, Betty Davis of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy McDaniel of Roxie, Miss., officiating.

Chandra Rae O’Daniel Fox
Chandra Rae O’Daniel Fox died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at her home. She was 28.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Fox was a resident of Vicksburg.
Survivors include two sons, Nathan Fox and Aaron Fox, both of Vicksburg; a daughter, Katie Fox of Vicksburg; her parents, Gary Ray and Janice Lee O’Daniel; a sister, Anna O’Daniel; two brothers, Andrew O’Daniel and Stephen O’Daniel; and two grandmothers, Mary Vowell Cutrer and Virginia Louise Langford.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the service at the church.
Elenora W. Joseph
SOUTHLAKE, Texas Elenora W. Joseph died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, in Southlake, Texas. She was 83.
Mrs. Joseph was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph; a son, Kenneth Ruth; and two granddaughters, Lisa Ruth and Kimberly Rice.
Survivors include two daughters, Margie McDaniel of Vicksburg and Elsie Rice; two sons, Thomas Joseph and Franklin Ruth; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at J.E. Foust & Son Memorial Chapel in Grapevine, Texas.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the service.
Pamela Posey Sharp
BRANDON Pamela Posey Sharp died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at Wiser Hospital of University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 52.
A resident of Brandon, Miss Sharp graduated from Philadelphia High School. She attended Mississippi University for Women and graduated from William and Mary College in Virginia.
She was an artist and the owner of Tableworks, hand painted dinnerware. She was a member of the Methodist Cursillo Community at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Brandon.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Posey.
Survivors include a daughter, Allison Palmer of Philadelphia, Miss.; a son, Adam Sharp of Brandon; her parents, Dr. Rudolph Adam Posey Sr. and Mary Posey of Philadelphia; a sister, Jane Posey Giffin of Vicksburg; a brother, Dr. Rudolph Adam Posey Jr. of Philadelphia; and seven nieces.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Philadelphia under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home, Inc. in Brandon.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
