Published 12:00 am Friday, February 14, 2003

With about two weeks remaining for candidates to file, two more incumbents have enrolled for re-election.

Gil Martin, 58, will seek his fourth full term as district attorney for the state’s 9th Circuit Court District, which includes Warren, Sharkey and Issaquena counties.

Martin filed as an independent candidate, meaning his name will not appear on ballots until the Nov. 5 general election. He has practiced law in Vicksburg since 1969.
