A bird perches on a limb at Louisiana Circle this morning as towboats work to remove two barges from a sandbar near the mouth of the Yazoo Diversion Canal. The barges, being towed by MV Britney Lee, which is owned by Ozark Towing Co., were headed south at about 10 Wednesday night when they hit sand near the Isle of Capri Casino.
