Flashes draw Cathedral in first-round

The St. Aloysius Flashes will open the Division 7-1A Tournament at home on Tuesday against a very familiar opponent.
The Flashes, the No. 3 seed, will play No. 6 seed Cathedral at 5:30 p.m. Cathedral beat the Flashes in the division finale for both teams on Friday night.
The fifth-seeded Lady Flashes will open the tournament at 7 p.m. on Tuesday against Enterprise, the No. 4 seed.
On the boys side, West Lincoln received the No. 1 seed, followed by the Mississippi School for the Deaf.
If St. Al gets past Cathedral on Tuesday, it would meet MSD on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. West Lincoln plays the Enterprise-Bogue Chitto winner on Thursday.
On the girls side, West Lincoln is the top seed and will meet the winner of the St. Al-Enterprise game on Thursday.
MSD and Cathedral play in the other first-round game on Tuesday and the winner of that game will play Bogue Chitto.
The top two teams in the tournament advance to the South State satellite game.
