Carl Lewis Curtis
Memorial services for Carl Lewis Curtis will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church with W. Frank Lescallette officiating. Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Curtis died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at his home. He was 70.
A native of Jefferson County, Mr. Curtis had lived in Vicksburg for 25 years. He was the son of the late Thelbert L. and Ella Mae Jones Curtis. He was a painter for 45 years, an Army veteran and a Sunday school teacher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Buster Curtis.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce S. Curtis of Vicksburg; a daughter, LaFern Curtis Massey of Vicksburg; three stepdaughters, Veva Lewallen of Crenshaw and Cindy Kleinman and Sharon Nevels, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Charles Ray Curtis of Possum Hollow and Willie Curtis of Vicksburg; three sisters, Shelly Price of Tallulah, Dee Farris of Vicksburg and Bobbie Donaldson of New Orleans; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Eunice Johnson Davis
OAK GROVE Services for Eunice Johnson Davis will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove with James Parker officiating. Burial will be at New Forest Cemetery in Forest.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davis died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Carroll Nursing Home in Oak Grove. She was 91.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Davis; her parents, Eugene and Anna Johnson; five brothers, Frank Johnson, Osborne Johnson, A.C. Johnson, Lyndon Johnson and Jesse Johnson; and three sisters, Mary Beasley, Margaret McElwee and Evelyn Sellars.
Survivors include a daughter, Marian Frances Smith of Oak Grove; a son, Charles Edward Davis of Berryville, Va.; three brothers, Eugene Johnson of West Monroe, Lester Johnson of Forest Hill, La., and Harry Johnson of Prineville, Ore.; a sister, Shirley Myrick of Wewahitchka, Fla.; three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove with Dr. James Parker officiating. Burial will follow at New Forest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Johnson, Norman Johnson, Randy Johnson, Lawrence Kohler, Jimmy Melton and Tom G. Smith.
Jesse Everett Johnson will be the honorary pallbearer.
Thomas C. Felt
Services for Thomas C. Felt will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Holy Trinity with the Rev. Michael Nation officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 today at Riles Funeral Home and Monday from 1 until the service at the Church of the Holy Trinity.
Mr. Felt died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at his home. He was 55.
Born in Chicago, Mr. Felt had lived in Vicksburg for 22 years. Mr. Felt had a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in business from Millsaps College. He had been a computer systems analyst with Cooper Lighting since 1999. Mr. Felt was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity and the Holy Trinity Breakfast Guild.
Mr. Felt was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Felt.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Felt of Vicksburg; a daughter, Christina “Chrissy” Felt of Vicksburg; a son, Andrew Thomas Felt of Vicksburg; his parents, Clarence and Irene Felt of Villa Park, Ill.; a brother, Steve Felt of Sherrard, Ill.; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jim Faulks, Stanley Meyers, Daniel Felt, Brandon Felt, Brian Felt, Fred Shirley, John Haas Jr., and Jeremy Svoboda.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cooper Lighting employees.

Joseph Howard Hall Sr.
Joseph Howard Hall Sr. died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 63.
Mr. Hall was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and worked as a millwright and machinist at LeTourneau and as a millwright at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. He was in the U.S. Army National Guard. He attended Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Howard and Adell McKay Hall and a daughter, Holly Michell Hall.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Sherill B. Hall of Vicksburg; three sons, Joseph Howard Hall Jr., Perry E. Hall, and Dean T. Hall, all of Vicksburg; two daughters, Donna E. Taylor and Crystal L. Arnold, both of Vicksburg; nine grandchildren and one brother, Milton R. Hall of Irving Texas.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Hall Cemetery off Roy Young Road with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service at Fisher Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dean Hall, Tim Hilbun, DeWayne McClurg, Albert Hossley, Mark McKay and Franklin Hicks.
