Services for Floyd D. Wilson will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Travelers M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Williams Funeral Service.

Mr. Wilson died Friday, May 21, 2004. He was 59.

Mr. Wilson was a retired construction worker and a funeral director at Williams Funeral Service. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wilson and Margie Watson Scott; and a sister, Allie Frances Cotton.

He is survived by his brother, James “Victor” A. Rice Jr. of Jackson; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including Margaret Glover of Vicksburg and the Coleman and Green families of Vicksburg and the Williams Funeral Service staff.

Marvin B. Worley

DELTA Marvin B. Worley died Friday, May 21, 2004, at Regency House Nursing Home in Alexandria, La. He was 78.

Born in Cotton Plant, Ark., Mr. Worley had been a resident of Delta since 1965. He was a Navy veteran, a Mason and a member of Mound Baptist Church in Mound, La. He was a retired shop supervisor in the Fleet Shop at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary H. Worley.

Survivors include a son, Lonnie Wayne Worley of Huron, Ohio; four daughters, Carolyn Sue Stansell of Pineville, La., Linda Clopton of Wesson, Christine Worley of Maybank, Texas, and Debbie Worley of Vicksburg; a brother, Arlis W. Worley of Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mound Baptist Church with the Rev. James Busby officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Todd Myers, Jamie Stansell, Marvin Nelson, Koury Nelson, Jimmy Callendar, Zackey Shaw, Travis Worley, Shane Worley and Joseph Stansell Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Stansell, Dewayne Shaw, Mike Clopton, Thurman Busby, Ray Goings, Jeff Redditt, Jasper Lunds, Felton Townsend, Ed Crawford, Lester Norton and Bobby McCallum.

Memorials may be made to the Mound Baptist Church Building Fund.

Kate T. Miller Wroten

PORT GIBSON

Mrs. Wroten was a native and lifelong resident of Claiborne County. She owned and operated a country store in Russum and was a member of Port Gibson Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, W. Russell Miller and Percy L. Wroten; a daughter, Linda Wroten Styron; and two grandchildren, Michelle Styron and W. Russell Miller III.

Survivors include a son, W. Russell Miller Jr. of Russum; two daughters, Joyce Miller Kendrick of Frisco, Texas, and Jo Anne Miller Lowe of Port Gibson; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
