Traffic flows under the new lights at U.S. 61 North and Culkin Road Tuesday, the first day the signals began flashing yellow. They are to be in full operation with red, green and yellow lights on Monday, said Lucy Hurst, Mississippi Department of Transportation assistant district engineer. The light is the third in the 2 12-mile stretch of road between Interstate 20 and Bowie Road, where the first was installed about four years ago.
