SAN FRANCISCO Larry A. Miller died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Coming Home Hospice Center in San Francisco. He was 52.

A former resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Miller was a 1970 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi College and was a speech and drama instructor and jazz singer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Will Miller Jr.; and his brother, Billy Ray Miller.

Survivors include his mother, Clara L. Miller of Vicksburg; three brothers, Harry J. Miller of Memphis, Harold W. Miller of Brandon, Miss., and Ronnie M. Miller of Jackson; three sisters, Jacqueline Miller Brown of Utica, Shirlene Miller of Jonesboro, Ga., and Carol Miller McCrackin of Jackson; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Locust Grove M.B. Church in Vicksburg. Bay Area Cremation Services of San Francisco has charge of arrangements.
