Ethel Bingham Harris
Ethel Bingham Harris died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 97.
Mrs. Harris was a retired teacher with the Warren County Public Schools and a member of the Mother Board of Bingham Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harris; her parents, Dennis and Polly Edmond Bingham Harris; and two sisters, Charlotte Davis and Rosie Johnson.
She is survived by a son, Charles Harris of Vicksburg; a brother-in-law, Clifton Harris of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arraignments.
John Michael Lollar
John Michael Lollar died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, in Clinton. He was 48.
Mr. Lollar was born in Marks, Miss., and lived in Vicksburg for the past 10 years. He was a former employee of Rainbow Casino and Waring Oil Company.
He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Latil and Julia Lollar, both of Oxford; his mother, Naomi Lollar of Jackson; two sisters, Lynda Lea Lollar of Jackson and Laura Lynn Davis of Texas; and one grandson.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Riles Funeral Home.

Dondes Theresa Long
EPPS, La. – Dondes Theresa Long died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Richland Manor Nursing Home in Delhi. She was 58.
Miss Long was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Mammie Dondee Long.
She is survived by an aunt, Maurine Black Hollingsworth of Oak Grove, La., and several cousins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Epps Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Loftin officiating.
Lester Wayne Neathery
OAK GROVE, La. – Lester Wayne Neathery died Friday, June 24, 2005, in Shreveport, La. He was 54.
Rev. Neathery was a longtime resident of Oak Grove, where he was minister of the Jesus Name Church of Faith in Christ. He was also a welder and member of the Pipeliners Union No. 798.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard F. and Rosa Jane Neathery.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Neathery; a son, Keith Neathery of Oak Grove; a daughter, Crystal Neathery of Oak Grove; four brothers, Millard “Dobber” Neathery, Louis “Brother” Neathery and Solon Neathery, all of Oak Grove, and Stan Neathery of Bastrop, La.; four sisters, Marie Pardon of Monroe, La., Millie Hicks of Yullee, Fla., and Sue Reeves of Oak Grove and Linda Townsend of West Monroe, La.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cox Funeral Chapel in Oak Grove with the Rev. Keith Riley officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be until 10 p.m. today and Monday morning at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Pardon, Johnny Moss, James Pardon, Lane Pearson, Jim Reeves and Johnny Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Pardon, Larry Wayne Pardon, Mike Bradford, Brian Pardon, Chad Pardon, Blake Pardon, Red Hall and Shane Ard.
Kenneth M. Rollison
Kenneth M. Rollison died Thursday night, June 23, 2005, at his residence. He was 60.
Born in Vicksburg, he was a longtime employee of the City of Vicksburg and at the time of his death was a millwright with Carpenters Union Local 303.
Mr. Rollison was an avid fox hunter and a member of the Mississippi Dog Hunters Association. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Henry Rollison; a sister, Elvira Carter; and a brother, Henry Rollison.
He is survived by his wife, Grace L. Rollison; a daughter, Kelly DeRossette of Vicksburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Patricia Rollison of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Finley Rollison and Taylor DeRossette of Vicksburg; a sister, Margie Lambert of Vicksburg; a brother, Alfred Rollison of Vicksburg, and his mother, Madie Smith of Vicksburg.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Riles Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie O’Quinn officiating. Burial will be at Redbone United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Riles Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Sykes, Billy Gene Wright, Ray Steed Sr., Billy Chapin, Clyde Strong, Patrick DeRossette, John Carter and Kenny Earl Carter.

Jayvona Elizabeth Renee Walker
Jayvona Elizabeth Renee Walker, the infant daughter of Leon Walker and Debra Thomas, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at River Region Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, Jayvona is survived by five brothers, Johnathan Walker, Ricky Thomas, Leon Miles III, Ledale Miles and Daytwun Walker, all of Vicksburg; three sisters, Lakendra Thomas, Tatiyana Walker and Akila Thomas, all of Vicksburg; and her grandparents, Leon Walker Sr. of Vicksburg, Barbara Ann Washington of Vicksburg, Annette Thomas of Port Gibson and Charles Nelson.
Myrtle Louise Irving Williams
ALEXANDRIA, La. – Myrtle Louise Irving Williams died Friday, June 24, 2005, at the Oaks Care Center in Pineville. She was 86.
Mrs. Williams was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton H. Williams Jr.; her parents, Steven Basano and Clara Effie Blackmon Irving; and a sister, Mildred Evelyn Irving McCain.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, John Milton Williams and his wife, Judith of Miami, Fla; three daughters, Annette Claire Williams Tassin and her husband, Aaron of Walker, La., Judith Rita Williams Bounds of Vicksburg and Maureen Louise Williams Tucker and her husband John “Sam” of Pineville, La.; her brother, Steven Basano Irving Jr., of Alexandria; her sister, Iris Mae Irving Tucker of Alexandria; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call today at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church from noon until the time of the service.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jamie Flowers officiating. Burial will be at forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Hixson Brothers.
