Hartford Milton Clark Sr.

EPPS – Hartford Milton Clark Sr. died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at his home in Epps. He was 77.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wives, Nell Clark and Ina Walley Clark; a daughter, Brenda Lee Griffin; a sister, Evelyn Ivey; and his parents, William Hartford Clark and Sarah Ann Ulmer Clark.

He is survived by two sons, H. M. Clark Jr. and Charles Clark, both of Delhi; three daughters, Irma Williams of Austin, Texas, Julie Linson of Epps and Nancy Hebert of Delhi; a stepdaughter, Peggy Brock of Oak Grove; a brother, Melvin Clark of Tallulah; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with the Revs. Donnie Linson and Nathan &#8220Jack” Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Epps Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

Pallbearers will be Heath H. Ardoin, Bradley M. Clark, Hank T. Linson, Charles W. Clark Jr., William H. Clark II and Brian Lee Griffin.

Freddie L. Hall

Services for Freddie L. Hall will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Traveler’s Rest M.B. Church with the Rev. Thomas Bernard officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Hall died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. He was 47.

Mr. Hall was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Thomas.

He is survived by his mother, Natalie Hall of Vicksburg; one brother, Jerry Hall of Vicksburg; two stepbrothers, Lou T. Thomas of Edwards and Cornelius Williams of Jackson; four sisters, Patricia DeShazer, Lorraine Devine, Denise Peters and Debra Hall, all of Vicksburg; a stepsister, Rose Gaskin of Bolton; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including members of the Strong and Thomas families.

Allison W. Killingsworth Jr.

PORT GIBSON – Allison W. Killingsworth Jr. died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 73.

A native of Red Lick, Mr. Killingsworth had been a resident of Port Gibson since 1961. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Africa.

He retired from the Mississippi National Guard after having served for 28 years. He taught school at Runnellstown High School and at Chamberlain-Hunt Academy for 44 years.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Port Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen S. Killingsworth, in 1996. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Yvonne and Kay.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Humphreys Killingsworth of Port Gibson; two sons, David Killingsworth and wife, Anne, of Port Gibson and Jimmy Wallace and wife, Jennifer, of Roxie, Miss.; two sisters, Barbara Stratton and husband, Mel, of Port Orange, Fla., and Carol McIlwain and husband, Phillip, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and six grandchildren, Elizabeth Killingsworth LaJeune and husband, Rick, of Cumming, Ga.; Al Killingsworth of Port Gibson; Belinda J. Seale and husband, Jeremy, and Katrina L. Wallace, all of Meadville, Miss.; and Justin Emfinger and Josh Wallace, both of Roxie, Miss.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Port Gibson with the Revs. Michael Herrin and Curtis Gibson officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Memorials may be to a favorite charity.

James H. Reed

James H. &#8220Jimmy” Reed died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. He was 55.

Mr. Reed is survived by his father, Sterling Ivory Sr. of Vicksburg; four sisters, Ivory Jean Reed, Cheryl Patten, Mary Griffin and Annie Reynolds, all of Vicksburg; one brother, Sterling Ivory Jr. of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Kemp Burley Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Church Cemetery in Bovina.

Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

L.J. Wooten

L.J. Wooten died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, at his home. He was 65.

Mr. Wooten was a native of Yazoo County and had lived in Vicksburg since 1955. He was the son of the late Louie D. and Beatrice Howell Wooten.

He was a foreman for 21 years for the Old River Bridge and had worked for River Transportation Co. for seven years. He attended Glen Allan School and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Sessions Wooten; a sister, Loretta Moore Evans; and two brothers, Mickey Moore and Earl Lewis Moore.

Survivors include one daughter, Kapri Darlene Sumrall of Vicksburg; three sons, Terry Glenn Wooten, Tony Ray Wooten and Devery Mark Wooten Sr., all of Vicksburg; three brothers, Raymond Clifton Moore and Robert Wayne Moore, both of Vicksburg, and Louie Lamar Wooten of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Retha Mae Palmer of Vicksburg and LaWanda Beard of Jacksonville, Ark.; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home with David Gale officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren: Terry Wooten Jr., Joseph Wooten, Jay Wooten, Dwayne Sumrall Jr., Tiffany Sumrall, Justin Wooten, Mark Wooten, Blake Wooten and Jake Wooten.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wilson and employees of the Warren County Bridge Commission.
