Clear Creek changes back to old course hole layout|[2/11/05]

The new front nine at Clear Creek Golf Course is now, officially, the new front nine.
The recently renovated holes at the course in Bovina had been played as the 10th through 18th holes since construction was completed in October. Because of traffic flow problems on the course, however, the order of the holes has been switched.
The new nine holes are now Nos. 1-9, while the older side of the course has resumed its pre-renovation order of 10-18.
“In theory, you’d like people to finish on what you just completed. In theory we thought it was justifiable. In practicality, it didn’t work,” departing Clear Creek pro Randy Tupper said. “Now everybody gets to play the new side. There’s less chance of upsetting somebody.”
