J.D. Jobe
J.D. Jobe died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 76.
Mr. Jobe was a native of Willow, Miss., and had been a resident of Vicksburg. He was a seaman for a steam ship for 46 years. He was a member of Warrenton Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson Davis Jobe Sr. and Jessie Jobe Sawyer; one daughter, Gail Neal; and one brother, Willie Jobe.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jobe of Vicksburg; one daughter, Faye Neihaus of Vicksburg; three sons, Jeff Jobe, Dave Jobe and Terry Jobe, all of Vicksburg; one brother, Robert Jobe of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Helen Maxey of Hernando, Miss., and Katherine Long of Vicksburg; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Les Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Eric Neal, Carl Neihaus, Shawn Neihaus, Bryan Neihaus, Joshua Neihaus, Jason Jobe, Corey Jobe and Blake Jobe.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Wilson, Lonnie Wilson and Robert Crow.

Mary Ollie Sims
Mary Ollie Sims died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 85.
Mrs. Sims was a mother of Oak Chapel M.B. Church in Bovina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Sims Sr.; one son, Willie Sims Jr.; and one daughter, Willie Mae Rafes.
Survivors include her son, Dave Sims of Miami; six daughters, Margie Whitfield of St. Louis, Mae Ollie Sims, Gennie Sims, Jessie Green, Nora Cornelius and Joyce Ann Williams, all of Vicksburg; one brother, Henry Warner of Vicksburg; and other relatives and friends.
Lakeview Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Bobbie Jean McGee Stewart
Services for Bobbie Jean McGee Stewart will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wayside Apostolic Church of Deliverance. Burial will follow at Mount Mariah M.B. Cemetery in Edwards under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon Wednesday until the hour of service at the church.
Mrs. Stewart died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 39.
She was born in Vicksburg and later moved to Edwards, where she graduated from Hinds AHS and Utica Junior College. She was employed by the Mississippi River Commission, Social Security Administration and worked as a security officer at the Isle of Capri Casino.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Jean McGee.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Stewart of Vicksburg; two sons, De’Archie Stewart and Euseph Stewart, both of Vicksburg; her father, George McGee of Gary, Ind.; four stepchildren, Kawayn Mason of Vicksburg and Latasha Stewart, LaQuanta Stewart and Lamar Stewart, all of El Paso, Texas; three brothers, Curtis Harrison of Gary, Ind., George McGee Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joshua Bernard McGee of Jackson; and two sisters, Rochelle Williams of Clinton and Cecilia Fulgum of Jackson.
