Seth Anderson.
GONZALES, La. – “For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Seth Anderson has found his gain. He went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Delia Anderson; five children, Carol, Bill, Darrell, Donna and Steven; one brother, Bonnard; two sisters, Rosa and June; 12 grandchildren, Homa, Sean, Brian, Dan, Jesse, Bruck, Michelle, Timothy, Dawn, Amanda, Kelly and Sabrina; and six great-grandchildren.
Renaissance Funeral Home in Gonzales has charge of arrangements.
Shirley Ann Curry.
Shirley Ann Curry died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, in Vicksburg. She was 69.
Mrs. Curry was a native of Fort Smith, Ark., and had been a resident of Vicksburg for 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Peerson. She was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver L. Curry Jr.; and a son, Ralph G. Curry.
Survivors include her son, Frank L. Curry of Pawhuska, Okla.; her mother, Elizabeth Findley of Muskogee, Okla.; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Knoblesdorff of Muskogee; a daughter-in-law, Becky Curry of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren, Eric L. Curry, Michael B. Curry, Joshua L. Curry, Ryan Curry, Kelli Campbell, Brett Curry and Aaron Curry; and four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth M. Curry, Matthew Curry, Callie Campbell and Bo Campbell.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chip Starnes, pastor of Bovina Baptist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Freddie Lee Hall.
Services for Freddie Lee Hall were at 11 a.m. today at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Bryant officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Hall died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at his home. He was 53.
Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Hall was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph King Sr. and Willie Mae Hall King; one brother, Jesse James King; and a son, Calvin Watson.
Survivors include his son, Fredrick Barnes of Gary, Ind.; two brothers, Michael King and Claude King, both of Vicksburg; seven sisters, Vera Hall-Wheatley, JoAnn King, Brenda King, Claudette King, Debbie King-Hall, Laura Ann King and Willene King, all of Vicksburg; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Willardean Weekley Harper.
Willardean Weekley Harper died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 71.
Mrs. Harper was the daughter of the late Jimmy B. and Mae Weekley of Vicksburg. She was born in Greenwood and had resided in Vicksburg most of her life.
Mrs. Harper graduated in 1952 from Jett High School, where she was active in basketball and band and was a majorette. In her later years, she was employed with the Vicksburg Warren School District and served as food service manager for Jett Elementary, retiring after 30 years.
Mrs. Harper was a longtime member of Porters Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was actively involved in the life of the church for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James E. Harper Sr.; one son, James E. Harper Jr. and wife, Jennifer; two daughters, Beverly H. Connelly and Jeri H. McGuffie and husband, Pat. Grandchildren include Kory Connelly, Keri Connelly, Mandy McGuffie, Patrick McGuffie, Jay Harper and Ben Harper, and one great-grandchild, Skylar Connelly.
Her greatest passion was the love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Biedenharn and the Rev. Durall Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be at Green Acres Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kory Connelly, Pat McGuffie, J.C. Conerly, Ken Breland, Wallace Goza and Rick Tillotson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Peggy Conerly, Frances and Ed Holtslander, Evelyn Breland, Janice Goza, Gail Wells, Dorothy and Fred Wells, Vardaman and Elizabeth McGuffie, Debra and Bob Baylor, Corrine Devaul and members of the Frances Hawthorn Circle.

Henriene W. Hayes.
Henriene W. Hayes died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, at Claiborne County Nursing Center in Port Gibson. She was 89.
Mrs. Hayes was a retired school teacher and a retired postal clerk. She was a life member of King Solomon Baptist Church, where she was president of the Mother Board. She was a member of Rose of Sharon OES No. 24, Retired Teachers Association, charter member of the Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club and a life member of American Legion Auxiliary No. 213.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Hayes and several siblings.
She is survived by two daughters, Jessica Hayes Williams and Rene
