Roger Paul Chatham III.

SLIDELL, La. – Roger Paul Chatham III died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at his home in Slidell. He was 67.

Mr. Chatham was a 1957 graduate of St. Aloysius High School and 1964 graduate of Mississippi State University. He was in the U.S. Navy and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger P. Chatham Jr. and Will Kinnebrew Chatham.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gill Chatham; two daughters, Shannon Chatham Jones and Margaret Chatham Wilder; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Slidell. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery under the direction of Honaker Funeral Home of Slidell.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service at the church.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Louisiana or Hospice of Mississippi.

Cora Mae Zingery.

AKRON, Ohio – Services for Cora Mae Zingery were at 11 this morning at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, in Akron. Burial followed at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.

Mrs. Zingery died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006. She was 87.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Kevin D. Brown and Cory Zingery.

She is survived by four daughters, Estella J. Brown of Stow, Ohio, Violet M. Reaser of Ravenna, Ohio, Alice Van Meter of Washington and Bonnie Jewel of Kent, Ohio; a son, Ken Zingery of Vicksburg; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
