E.S. Redditt Jr.
E.S. “Sonny” Redditt Jr. died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at his home. He was 59.
A native and lifelong resident of Warren County, Mr. Redditt owned and operated Redditt’s Grocery for 30 years. He was a member of Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Allison Redditt; one sister, Martha Redditt; one brother, Roy Redditt; and one daughter, Lorie Redditt.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra D. Redditt of Vicksburg; one daughter, Amy Judith Redditt of Jackson; one son, Mark S. Redditt of Nashville; his father, Elbert S. Redditt Sr. of Vicksburg; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold White officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Craft, Glenn Jones, John Erwin, Kelly Worthy, Greg Sparks, Lynell Johnson, Martin Pace and Jack Pace.

Albena Smith.
CHICAGO – Services for Albena Smith will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at St. James M.B. Church Cemetery in Tallula, Miss.
Mrs. Smith died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Jackson Square Nursing Home in Chicago. She was 96.
Born in Issaquena County, Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a former member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church. She was also a member of First Holy M.B. Church in Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Smith; and her parents, William and Lockie Fitzgerald.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Smith; two daughters, Albertha Kaiser of Vicksburg and Gennie Rodriguez of Chicago; one sister, Hattie Cole of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
