FLORENCE – Services for Kelsey Danielle Bates, the infant daughter of Michael and Shannon Bates of Florence, were Monday, April 10, 2006, at New Zion Cemetery in Crystal Springs with the Rev. Danny Powell officiating. Ott and Lee Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

She died Friday, April 7, 2006, at Woman’s Hospital in Flowood.

In addition to her parents, Kelsey is survived by three brothers, Kamryn, Preston and Matthew; her grandparents, Willie Ray and Dot Bates of Florence, and Randy and Robin Lackey of Crystal Springs; her great-grandparents, Gordon and Phyllis Cordes of Vicksburg; and other relatives.

Pallbearers were Scott Singleton and Jason Lackey.

Margaret Boykin Patterson.

DELTA CITY – Margaret Boykin Patterson died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at her home in Delta City. She was 76.

A lifelong resident of Delta City, Mrs. Patterson was a member of Anguilla Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William E. Patterson Jr. of Delta City; two sons, Richard B. Patterson of Delta City and William E. Patterson III of Anguilla; a sister, Juanita Bishop of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Anguilla Methodist Church with the Rev. Lannis May officiating. Burial will follow at Golden Link Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork. Visitation will be today at the church from 1:30 until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hollingsworth, Billy Fountain, Leo Williams Jr., Doug Simmons, Louis Vandevender and Jim Bishop.
