Marcus Bradford.

PATTISON – Services for Marcus &#8220Toot” Bradford will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Port Gibson High School gymnasium with the Rev. Ray Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Flowers Family Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 tonight at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. Saturday until the hour of service at the school.

Bradford died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at Claiborne County Hospital as a result of a gunshot wound. He was 17.

Bradford was a student at Port Gibson High School.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara McComb of Pattison; his father, Guy Shorter Jr. of Dangerfield, Texas; maternal grandparents, Theresa Wilson and Archie Wilson, both of Pattison, and Ruby Dorsey of Port Gibson; paternal grandparents, Mae and L.V. Searcy, both of Dangerfield; three sisters, Mekorsha McComb of Port Gibson, Lakeisha Shorter and Zoey Shorter, both of Dangerfield; seven brothers, Michael McComb, Eric Moore Jr. and Marquavious McComb, all of Port Gibson, Jermine Shorter, Alex Shorter, Mark Shorter and K.C. Shorter, all of Dangerfield; aunts, uncles and other relatives, including Mildred Flowers of Port Gibson.

John Lee McGee.

Services for John Lee &#8220Skeet” McGee will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cool Spring M.B. Church with the Rev. E.J. Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Rolling Fork.

A wake service will be from 6 until 7 tonight at Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Mr. McGee died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 42.

He is survived by his mother, Mattie Hall of Vicksburg; one son, Jonathan Lee Cole of Vicksburg; and a brother, Dennis Dewayne Hall of Vicksburg.

Ted Alan Sanches.

BATON ROUGE – Ted Alan Sanches died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 34.

Mr. Sanches was a 1990 graduate of Warren Central High School. He was a former employee with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, W.A. &#8220Bill” Brumfield; and his paternal grandfather, Robert L. Sanches Sr.

He is survived by a son, Holden Kenneth Sanches of Denham Springs, La.; his mother, Joni Brumfield Adams of Denham Springs; his father, Robert L. Sanches Jr. of Baton Rouge; his stepfather, James E. &#8220Shot” Adams of Vicksburg; his maternal grandmother, Janel Brumfield; his paternal grandmother, JoAnne B. Sanches; three brothers, James Casey Adams of Ellisville, James Curtis Adams of Monroe and James Roger Adams of Vicksburg; and three sisters, Kali Elizabeth Sanches of Baton Rouge and Kendra B. Cain and Keith Ann Bradford, both of Lafayette, La.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Rabenhorst Funeral East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge. Burial will follow at Green Oaks Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Troy Searles, Matthew Brumfield, Lance Brumfield, Grant Brumfield, Zachary McLin, John Conner Kent and Bradley Weltens.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.

David Milton Turner Sr.

PORT GIBSON – David Milton Turner Sr. died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 75.

Born in Claiborne County, Mr. Turner was bookkeeper for the County Barn and Corps of Engineers for 35 years. He was a veteran and a member of Mount Zion Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Classie Turner.

He is survived by six sons, John Turner, Jerald Turner and Roy Turner, all of Jackson, David Turner Jr. and Randy Turner, both of Canton, and Stanley Turner of Lawton, Okla.; five daughters, Bettye Turner of Canton, Geneva Anderson of Hazlehurst, Lillie Smith of Vicksburg, Rosie Brown of Port Gibson and Alma Turner of Baton Rouge; a sister, Lela Turner of Vicksburg; and grandchildren, other relatives and friends, including Richard Banks and Jenette Rucker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Welcome Baptist Church with the Rev. Stevie C. Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Turner Cemetery in Brandywine under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Port Gibson.
