Alfred Disotell Jr.

TALLULAH – Funeral services for Alfred &#8220Sonny” Disotell Jr. will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Krotz Springs, La. Interment will take place at the Baptist Cemetery in Krotz Springs. Bro. Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mr. Disotell, age 69, died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at 6:23 a.m. at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg.

Mr. Disotell was a resident of Tallulah and a native of Krotz Springs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was also a loving father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survivors include his ex-wife, Barbara Pomanico of Hattiesburg; special friends, Beverly Fuller and Larry Foster both of Tallulah; sons, Darrell Disotell of Gretna, La., Gordon Disotell of Purvis, Greg Disotell of Jackson, and Neil Disotell and Gary Disotell, both of Texas; daughters, Lisa D. Lopeyrouse of Hattiesburg and Candace Disotell of Jackson; brothers, Gilbert Disotell of Krotz Springs and Wendel Disotell of Lottie, La.; sister, Betty Ruth Patterson of Dallas; and 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Disotell Sr. and Minnie Ruth Davis Disotell; brother, Irvin Disotell; and a grandchild, John Gregory Disotell.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m.

Roy Dale Rinicker

TALLULAH – Services for Roy Dale Rinicker will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Pentecostal Church in Tallulah with the Revs. Greg Nichols officiating and Robert Stroud assisting. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah in charge.

Mr. Rinicker died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 45.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, Mr. Rinicker had lived in Florida for 15 years and Tallulah for more than a year. A retired property manager, he was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Tallulah.

He is survived by his mother, Eunice Odom Thornton of Tallulah; two brothers, James E. Rinicker and Kenneth E. Rinicker, both of Tallulah; a sister, Debbie R. James of Tallulah; a stepfather, Elijah Thornton of Tallulah; two stepbrothers, Thomas Thornton of Calhoun, La., and Chris Thornton of Tallulah; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including Tony Dee.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Thornton, Chris Thornton, Mike James, Scott James, Len Machen and Bill Machen.
