John Eric Harmon

John Eric “Ricky” Harmon died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at his home. He was 42.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Harmon was a graduate of Warren central High School and received his registered nursing degree from Hinds College of Nursing. He was a former employee of ParkView Regional Medical Center and River Region Medical Center.

Mr. Harmon was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Harmon.

He is survived by his wife, Kim K. Harmon of Vicksburg; two sons, Timothy Harmon of Baton Rouge and John Michael Harmon of Vicksburg; his father, Doug Harmon of Vicksburg; a sister, Michelle Carroll of Vicksburg; and a brother, Rusty Harmon of Vicksburg.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Brumfield, pastor, officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.

Donations may be made to Kim Harmon, 50 Reed Lane, Vicksburg, MS 39180.

James Rawls Jr.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — James “Lil Bill” Rawls Jr., formerly of Utica, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon, Mich. He was 48.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
