Christopher Joseph Hall
Christopher Joseph Hall died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. He was 56.
Born in Memphis, he was the son of the late Linus Parker Hall and Josephine Tully Hall.
Mr. Hall had been a Vicksburg resident for the past several years and was a member of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by three brothers, Parker Hall, Tully Hall and Peter Hall, all of Vicksburg.
Services were Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Patrick Farrell, pastor of St. Paul Catholic Church, officiating.
Memorials may be made to Vicksburg Catholic School, 1900 Grove St., Vicksburg, MS 39183 or to the YMCA, 267 YMCA Place, Vicksburg, MS 39183.
Riles Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
John Eric Harmon
A celebration of life service for John Eric “Ricky” Harmon will be at 2 p.m. today at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Brumfield, pastor, officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
Mr. Harmon died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at his home. He was 42.
A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Harmon was a graduate of Warren Central High School and received his registered nursing degree from Hinds College of Nursing. He was a former employee of ParkView Regional Medical Center and River Region Medical Center.
Mr. Harmon was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Harmon.
He is survived by his wife, Kim K. Harmon of Vicksburg; one daughter, Meagan Harmon of Vicksburg; two sons, Timothy Harmon of Baton Rouge and John Michael Harmon of Vicksburg; his father, Doug Harmon of Vicksburg; a sister, Michelle Carroll of Vicksburg; and a brother, Rusty Harmon of Vicksburg.

Isaiah L. Shepherd Jr.
CALUMET CITY, Ill. — Isaiah L. “Ike” Shepherd Jr., formerly of Cary, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Chris Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill. He was 65.
Mr. Shepherd was a resident of Calumet City, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, Lenorise Shepherd of Calumet City; three sons, Calvin Shepherd, Lorenzo Shepherd and Isaiah Shepherd III, all of Chicago; six daughters, Bernice Shepherd, Barbara Ann Shepherd, Betty Shepherd, Sonja Purtty, Sheryl Tillman and Carol Shepherd, all of Chicago; two brothers, Roosevelt Thomas and Clyde Thomas, both of Chicago; 30 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be at noon Friday at Mount Zion M.B. Church in Cary with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Cary Community Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
Bobby Joe Young
Bobby Joe Young died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. He was 67.
A truck driver, Mr. Young had worked for Ergon Trucking, Southland Oil and Wayne Poultry. He was a member of Houston Road Baptist Church in Laurel and served in the Mississippi National Guard for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Young; and his parents, Ralph and Bessie Archey Young.
Survivors include a daughter, Sarah M. Young Lee of Vicksburg; a son, Michael Young of Vicksburg; two brothers, Haskell Young and Glenn Young, both of Louin; and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sharon Cemetery in Jones County with the Rev. Charles H. Jones officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Colonial
