Charles Dwight Pigott

Charles Dwight Pigott died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Olive Branch Nursing Home in Tallulah. He was 70.
Born in Tylertown, Mr. Pigott received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. He was retired from the U.S. government and had worked for the Mississippi Department of Transportation. He was a Mason and a member of Crawford Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty R. Pigott of Vicksburg; two sons, Steven Pigott of Alexandria, Va., and Kevin Pigott of Memphis; one daughter, Karen Hoerner of Rockville, Md.; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel Hoerner of Rockville.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Knoxo Cemetery in Tylertown with the Rev. Geoffrey Joyner officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
