Services for Annie B. “Tillie” Allen will be at noon Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on Boy Scout Road with Ronald Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family present from 6 until 7.

Mrs. Allen died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at Heritage House Nursing Home. She was 75.

Mrs. Allen was a domestic worker and a private sitter. She was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Horton and Ceaser Eatmon; her stepfather, Joseph Horton; a sister, Mary Cotton; and a brother, Andy Horton.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Willie Allen of Vicksburg; five daughters, Annie P. Gross, Sara Allen Heard, Janice L. Allen, Willie Ann Mayfield and Eunice M. Allen, all of Vicksburg; five sisters, Josephine Eatmon of Vicksburg, Thelma McGregor of Utica and Joanna Eaton, Rosie Eatmon and Cora English, all of Chicago; four brothers, Charles Horton of Utica, Arthur Horton of Berwyn, Ill., and Perry Leon Eatmon and Larry Eatmon, both of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
