Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mikell Abraham of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Claire, to Jonathan Paul Bagley. Mr. Bagley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jefferson Bagley of Madison.

Miss Abraham is the granddaughter of Harold Carleton and the late Joy Brantley Carleton of Union and the late Mr. and Mrs. S.T. Abraham of Port Gibson.

Mr. Bagley is the grandson of Inez Vanlandingham and the late R.E. Vanlandingham and Mary Bagley and the late Ira J. Bagley, all of Houston, Miss.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Madison Central High School. She attended the University of Mississippi and received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the  University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Miss Abraham is employed at University Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Madison Central High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry from the University of Mississippi.

Mr. Bagley is a medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Vows will be exchanged Dec. 20, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Madison. A reception will follow at the Grand Old Post Office in Canton.
