Leonia Green, formerly of Vicksburg, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in Mount Claire, Calif. She was 95.

A homemaker, Mrs. Green was a member of Calvary M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Major Williams, and her mother, Rebecca Starr.

She is survived by four sons, Howard Green of Tallulah, Jesse C. Green of Mount Claire, Charlie Green of Ontario, Calif., and Ernest Rogers of New York, N.Y.; three daughters, Artie Lance of Greensboro, N.C., Lilie Mae Green of New York City and Linda Rogers of Mount Claire; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
