ROXIE — Butch Oliver died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at his home in Roxie. He was 55.

Mr. Oliver was born in Ozona, Texas, and was a welder and a member of Elmo Baptist Church of Roxie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orbie Lee Oliver Sr. and Hazel Aldridge Oliver; and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Cooper Oliver; a daughter, Emily Oliver of Bradenton, Fla.; a son, Nathan Oliver of Roxie; a sister, Diane Lehmann of Roxie; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Elmo Baptist Church with Franklin Funeral Home of Meadville in charge. Visitation will be this evening at 6 p.m. at Elmo Baptist Church.
