MUSKEGON, Mich. — Services for Willie Mae Bernard will be at noon Tuesday at New Mount Elem M.B. Church on Wisconsin Avenue. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. today at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home and Wednesday at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Bernard died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at her home in Muskegon, Mich. She was 88.

Born in Vicksburg, Mrs. Bernard was reared in Slidell, La., and had lived in Muskegon for five years. She was a member of Mount Elem M.B. Church of Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Bernard Sr.; and a daughter, Dorothy Bernard.

She is survived by a son, Andrew Bernard Jr. of Muskegon; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other relatives.
