Albert Parker died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 92.

Mr. Parker was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Mount Olive M.B. Church, Villa Nova.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Lee Parker; his parents, Joe and Annie Mae Parker; and two sisters, Mary Lee Reed and Marguerite Spratley.

Survivors include one daughter, Karlyn Parker of Jackson; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a niece; cousins; and other relatives and friends, including Emma Williams and members of the Williams, Lewis, Pierce and Thomas families.
