Bayou Bash 2008, a weekend full of music, mud-ridin’ and more, is headed to a new nightspot in Delhi.

The three-day event, which kicks off Friday and wraps up Oct. 12, will be at Roosters Country Bar, which opened its doors Aug. 6 and featured country music star David Allan Coe on opening night.

“There wasn’t a nice place to bring your wife or girlfriend or a venue big enough to hear live music, so that’s why I opened it,” said Jeff Swank, owner of Roosters Country Bar and neighboring High Delta Safari Park, both off Louisiana 855.
