ARLINGTON, Texas — Patricia Cooper Riley died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She was 64.

Born in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Byron Patton Cooper and Eva Ray Cooper. She was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Academy and received a licensed practical nursing degree at Hinds Junior College’s School of Nursing. She was employed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jackson for a number of years.

A former Southaven resident, Mrs. Riley had lived in Arlington, Texas, for the past five years. She was a member of Bowmar Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter Lee Riley; and a son, James Patrick Riley.

She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Riley of Arlington and Leigh Anne Bowen of Aledo, Texas; one sister, Judy C. Tom of Vicksburg; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Green Acres Memorial Park with the Rev. Terry White, pastor of Bowmar Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Lynch, Jay Madison, Chris Madison, Joe Tom Jr., Jimmy Riley and Jay Riley.
