Seven catalytic converters stolen from cars at dealership|Crime

No arrests had been made by this morning in a grand larceny at a Vicksburg car dealership Saturday.

Sgt. Sandra Williams said seven catalytic converters valued at $200 each were reported stolen 2:54 p.m. Saturday from cars at Vicksburg Honda, 2939 N. Frontage Road.

The converters were taken off cars on the lot.

2 cars, household items missing in Vicksburg

Two thefts were reported to Vicksburg police Tuesday and today.

A 1996 red Buick Roadmaster with an unknown number on a NASCAR tag was reported stolen this morning at 2:56 from the Wal-Mart SuperCenter parking lot, 2150 Iowa Blvd.

The driver had left the door unlocked with the key inside.

Separately, several items were reported stolen Tuesday at 11:06 a.m. from a vacant house in the 200 block of Lovers Lane.

Missing were a 1985 blue, broken-down Toyota Celica with license plate WAK487; a gray Sears Craftsman 16-horsepower riding lawn mower valued at $1,200; a black Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator valued at $1,200; a window air conditioner valued at $150; and bronze light fixtures with an unknown value.
