CROSSING THE RIVER

A Kansas City Southern train crosses the Old Mississippi River Bridge Saturday morning as some of the 400 participating runners and walkers head out for the 20th Annual Over the River Run. The race returned to the bridge this year after being moved off because of work on the bridge. The top runners in this year’s events were Caleb Hammons, 26, of Flowood, and Kristi Hall, 29, of Vicksburg.
