City police report shots fired on Curry Street|[02/22/08]

Shots were fired in the city Thursday night, Vicksburg Police said.
At 11:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block Curry Street regarding reports of gunfire, said Lt. Bobby Stewart. Upon arrival, police discovered that at least one shot went into a home. No injuries were reported.
Stewart said this morning that no arrests had been made.
T-shirts, cash, game missing in two burglaries
Cash, a PlayStation 2 and Bob Marley T-shirts were among the missing items in two burglaries Thursday, one in the city and one in the county.
At 11:38 a.m., Vicksburg Police received a report of a residential burglary in the 1300 block of Grove Street. Reported stolen was $210. Lt. Bobby Stewart said entrance was gained through a rear door.
A PlayStation 2, five PlayStation 2 games, an iPod and four Bob Marley T-shirts were reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Overlook Drive. The total value was listed at $310. The Warren County Sheriff’s Department received the report at 10:48 p.m.
