Services for Georgia Lee Baxter will be at at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Carmel M.B. Church with the Rev. Charles Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Monday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home and an hour before the service Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Baxter died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at her home in Vicksburg. She was 81.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Carmel M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Chester Harry Baxter; her father, Harry Milton Lewis; and her mother, Geneva Brown.

Survivors include a son, Alzonia Baxter Jr. of Chicago; seven daughters, Nora Stanford, Shirley Lewis and Irene Morant, all of Vicksburg, and Mary Brooks, Georgia Lee, Alzoria Baxter and Geneva Mompoint, all of Chicago; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
