One arrested after owner spots stolen car|[03/07/08]

A Vicksburg woman recognized her stolen car on Pemberton Square Boulevard on Thursday and followed it while she phoned authorities, Vicksburg police said.
Lt. Bobby Stewart said the owner spotted the silver Pontiac Grand Am, reported stolen Jan. 18, and followed it until police stopped the car at Monument Place and arrested the driver, identified as Bryan Neihaus, 19, 452 Tilton Ranch Road.
Neihaus was in the Warren County Jail without bond today and was charged with grand larceny.
Stewart said the car’s license plate had been changed.
County man out of jail after embezzlement charge
A Warren County man charged with embezzlement was released from the Warren County Jail on $5,000 bond, Vicksburg police reports said.
Charles Sanders, 51, 4779 Halls Ferry Road, was arrested Thursday and charged with the theft of drainage pipe, valued at $5,000, reported stolen Feb. 22 from Hancor Inc. on U.S. 61 South.
Two taken to River Region after wreck at Freetown
Three people were treated for injuries after a two-vehicle wreck on Freetown Road, said Vicksburg Fire Department reports.
Max Windham, 71, no address available, was a passenger in a truck driven by Larry Bowman, 52, 1615 Marcus St. The truck was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Damen Sanders, 34, 4173 U.S. 80, the report said. The accident occurred at Freetown and Birdsong roads.
Sanders was treated on-scene, according to fire department reports.
Windham and Bowman were taken to River Region Medical Center, where a hospital spokesman said they were treated and released.
