DALLAS, Texas — James Michael Dills Sr. passed away Monday, Sept.1, 2008, in Dallas, Texas, from complications of Parkinson’s disease. He was born Jan. 24, 1931, in Memphis, Tenn.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Donaldson Dills; children, Claire Dills Johnson, Judy Dills Evans, James M. Dills Jr. and Kelly D. Dills; grandchildren, Laura Dills Gee, Lacey Evans and Alton Dills; great-granddaughter, Riley Gee; and sister, Ann Dills Dunn.

Jim Dills was a CPA and was previously CFO of Helena Chemical Company; Vicksburg Chemical Company; and Friendly Chevrolet Corporation of Dallas, Texas.  

He retired as CFO from American Dental Corporation.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Parkway Chapel.
