Jimmy Lee Hollins Jr.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Jimmy Lee Hollins Jr. died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Palm Beach, Fla. He was 31.

Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Hollins was a resident of West Palm Beach, Fla. He graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Lillie Wallace Funches and Beatrice Hollins.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Lee Hollins III of Atlanta; two daughters, Jimesha Hollins and Jaimee Hollins, both of West Palm Beach; his father, Jimmy Lee Hollins Sr. of Seattle, Wash.; his mother, Hertisena Wallace Norton of West Palm Beach; two brothers, Anthony Wallace and Anthony Norton, both of West Palm Beach; three sisters, Ashley Sims, Yashica Sims and Nankie Norton, all of West Palm Beach; his maternal great-grandmother, Hertisena Carter of Vicksburg; and other relatives.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at New Macedonia Baptist Church in Riviera Beach, Fla., with Artis Newbey officiating. Burial was Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
