LORMAN — Julius W. Reynolds died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at his home in Lorman. He was 76.

Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Reynolds and Velma Killingsworth; and a brother, Reese Sims Jr.

He is survived by three sons, Charles Sims of Gulfport, Edward Patton of Columbia and Walter Reynolds of Lorman; four daughters, Patricia Sims of Gulfport and Velma Bell, Janie Reynolds-Ellis and Annyce Johnson, all of Lorman; one sister, Jimmie Scott of Harriston; two brothers, Edmond Jones of Killeen, Texas, and James Reynolds of Port Gibson; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Dorothy Newton of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at China Grove M.B. Church in Russum with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at McCay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
