Ashley announces plans to marry Jackson Oct. 4

Kelly Leigh Ashley, bride-elect of Donald Richard Jackson, both of Vicksburg, announces their wedding plans for a private ceremony Oct. 4, 2008, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Doyle Murphy. A reception will follow.
Miss Ashley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Larry Ashley of Vicksburg.
Mr. Murphy is the son of Jancsi Artz Herlihy of Madison and Dr. and Mrs. Donald William Jackson of Vicksburg.
The Rev. Joseph Brian Ivey will officiate at the ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her father.
Matrons of honor will be Shelly Ashley Palmertree, sister of the bride, of Vicksburg and Blair Purvis Hill of Southaven. Bridesmaids will be Mary Hanah Hester and Haley Haynes Hester, sisters of the groom, Julie Holliday Carr and Brandi Marie Pritchett, all of Vicksburg; Ashley Elizabeth Christopher of Rolling Fork; and Sarah Katherine Garrick of Ridgeland.
Junior bridesmaids will be Mallory Joyce Palmertree and Meghan Ashley Palmertree, nieces of the bride, of Vicksburg.
The groom’s father will serve as best man. Groomsmen will be William Joseph Jackson, brother of the groom, James Randolph Miller and Richard Glenn Rhett Jr., all of Vicksburg; Rhett David Graves and Michael O’Neal Melcher, both of Starkville; Christopher Edward Bass of Las Vegas; and John David Ferguson of Huntsville, Ala.
Ushers will be John Andrew Herlihy and Michael Patrick Herlihy, both of Jackson, and Bradley Troy Noble of Vicksburg.
Flower girls will be cousins of the bride: Shelby Avanell Ashley of Raymond, Lily Kate Henry of Vicksburg, Caron Elaine Nail of Brandon, Claire Elizabeth Rains of Memphis, Alyssa Hope Shelton of Clinton and Jewell Aden Vandevere of Yazoo City.
