Noah Grandy Cartwright IV

TALLULAH — Noah Grandy Cartwright IV died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. He was 58.

Born in Jonesboro, Ark., Mr. Cartwright had lived in Tallulah most of his life. He was a graduate of Northern Louisiana University in Monroe and, before his retirement, was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years.

He is survived by two brothers, Finley W. Cartwright of Lufkin, Texas, and John H. Cartwright of Tallulah; and two sisters, Christy Bradley of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Cindy Hord of Los Osos, Calif.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tallulah Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Kavanaugh officiating and John Wilkins assisting. Visitation will be from noon until the service Sunday at the church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah and will be under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Russell, James Sevier, James Still, Johnny Wilkins, Dusty Butler, Dewey Laird and T.K. Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be B.B. Harmon and employees of the U.S. Post Office in Tallulah.
