Warren County man injured in logging accident|[03/06/08]

A Warren County man’s foot was nearly severed from his leg in a logging accident Wednesday morning, said Warren County Sheriff’s Department records.

Kenneth Leach, 55, 3750 Goodall Road, was taken to University Medical Center in Jackson after a tree he was cutting landed on his left foot, said the report. The accident took place at 260 CK’s Place, off Possum Hollow Road, in northern Warren County, and emergency units responded at 9:40 a.m.

A spokesman for the Jackson hospital said Leach was in good condition, but did not release further details.

Computer reported stolen on Oak RidgeA laptop computer was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Oak Ridge Road, said a Warren County Sheriff’s Department report.

The theft was reported at 1:54 p.m. The Fugitsu computer, along with software, was valued at $3,600.
