Lois Duncan

GRAVETTE, Ark. — Lois Duncan of Gravette, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Ark. She was 80.

Mrs. Duncan was born in Wesley, Ark., and spent time in California and Mississippi. She was a member of the Hiwasse, Ark.,Church of Christ. She worked at Daisy in Springdale, Ark., and at C&W Homes in Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Duncan; her parents, William F. and Audie L. Neal McCoy; a daughter, Claudia Jean McCollough Robinson; and two sisters.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by a son, James David “Rocky” Duncan of Gravette; two daughters, Judy McCollough of Springdale and Jackie Parks of Vicksburg; a brother, Glenn McCoy of Yorba Linda, Calif.; a sister, Joanne McCoy Webb of Peach Tree City, Ga.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., with Glenn McCoy and Gene Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.
