Frazier, Rush are married Sept. 21 in beach wedding

Edward “Alan” Frazier and Kelly Patrice Rush were married at sunset Sept. 21, 2008, in a waterfront ceremony at Venice Beach in Venice, Calif. The Rev. Larry Edwards officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Pat Rush Benigno of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Azine G. Rush of Alexandria, La., and Beulah N. Benigno of Bay St. Louis.
The groom is the son of Patricia Betts of Memphis.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Paul J. Benigno of Biloxi. She wore a long, halter-style beach dress of embossed white cotton. She carried a satin-wrapped nosegay of fresh Hawaiian white plumeria-lei, rosebuds and miniature tulips.
The bride’s mother wore a turquoise-and-teal multi-print dress with matching accessories. The groom’s mother wore a black-and-silver, floor-length dress with matching accessories.
A reception followed at The Terrace in Venice. The area featured beach decor, white satin balloons and flowers and sea-blue accents.
The three-tiered wedding cake, created from red velvet with cream cheese frosting, was adorned with fresh plumeria-lei flowers and miniature footsteps ascending the layers of the confection.
The couple will make their home in Venice.
The bride is manager of The Pasta Factory in Marina Del Rey, Calif. The groom is a lighting technician in the film and TV industry in Hollywood and is a part-time actor.
