Margaret M. Cattlin died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Memorial Hospice. She was 98.

Mrs. Cattlin was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Cattlin Sr.; one daughter, Deborah Cattlin Tolliver; three brothers, Henry Matthews, James Matthews and Roosevelt Matthews; two sisters, Selena Bowman and Rosie Chase; a grandson, Larry Chatman; and her parents, Andrew and Mariah Cook Matthews.

Survivors include three sons, Dave Cattlin Jr. and Eugene Cattlin Sr., both of Vicksburg, and Claude Cattlin of Chicago; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with Ronald Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 7 at the funeral home.
