Three Jackson men were in Vicksburg police custody Friday after an arrest at Interstate 20 and Indiana Avenue, said Chief Tommy Moffett.

Demario Cotton, 26, Luther Chad Payne, 20, and Undra Harper, 27, were charged with receiving stolen property — a Ford Excursion reported stolen in Hattiesburg Oct. 22. Addresses were not released pending verification, the chief said.  “We anticipate filing more charges,” he added.

Two injured in wreck on North Washington

Two people were taken to River Region Medical Center Friday night after a two-car wreck at North Washington Street and Kings Crossing Road, said Vicksburg police officer Richard Martin.

Both drivers were traveling north on Washington, Martin said. Angela Johnson, 34, 56 Kings Crossing Road, was yielding before making a left turn. Joseph D. Cole Jr., 50, 1787 Freetown Road, crashed into Johnson’s vehicle, Martin said. Both were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.

City man in jail on cocaine charge

A Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail Friday charged with the sale of cocaine. Jermaine Haggard, 24, 170 Curry St., was arrested by sheriff’s deputies.
