Robert Jones has been named a presidential scholar at Mississippi State University. He is a senior majoring in industrial technology. He is continuing his second summer as a safety and quality engineer intern with Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne at the NASA John C. Stennis Space Center in Bay St. Louis.

Niraj Vanmali of Vicksburg has received a juris doctor degree from the School of Law at Valparaiso University.
