Eddie Mac Elledge
TALLULAH – Eddie Mac Elledge died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at his home in Tallulah. He was 80.
Born in Advance, Ark., Mr. Elledge had lived in Tallulah most of his life. He was a member of the Coast Guard.
He owned an insurance and real estate brokerage and was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as an usher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Valencia Ramagos Elledge.
Survivors include two sons, Ken Elledge of Prairieville, La., and Steve Elledge of Denham Springs, La.; a brother, Clyne Elledge of Tallulah; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. John Wesley Rushing officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Paul Meeks, Eddie Mills, Ted Osborne, Pat Weiss, Robert Charles Brown and Bill Windham.
Bobby B. Harrigill
ROXIE – Bobby B. Harrigill died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at his home in Roxie. He was 70.
Mr. Harrigill was born in Natchez to John V. and Doris Guice Harri-gill. He had worked in oil production for 40 years. He was a member of Stanton Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John V. Harrigill and Doris Guice Harrigill Carter; sisters, Katherine Young and Patsy Shell; and a brother, Charles Harrigill.
Survivors include his wife, Mona Harrigill of Roxie; a son, the Rev. Mike Harrigill of Natchez; two daughters, Debra Ann Harrigill and Vickie LaGrone, both of Roxie; three brothers, Jack Harrigill of Oldenburg, Miss., Larry Harrigill of Vicksburg and Freddy Harrigill of Jackson, Tenn.; two sisters, Agnes Kiser of Natchez and Jewell Farmer of Roxie; four grandchildren; and cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives, including Ethel Dillon of Meadville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating. Burial will follow at Roxie City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Beach, Wade Guice, Loyd Reeves, Ricky Harrigill, Ricky Long and Terrell Foster.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Stanton Baptist Church Adult Men Sunday school class.

Hilda Irving-Hollie
Hilda Irving-Hollie died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 69.
Mrs. Irving-Hollie was a homemaker.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Travis Chapel A.M.E. Church in Kings. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family present from 7 until 8.
Ronnie Stewart Lee
Services for Ronnie Stewart Lee will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Morning Star Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Thursday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home and Friday at the church from noon until the service.
Mr. Lee died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at his home. He was 63.
Born in Scott County, Mr. Lee had lived in Vicksburg most of his life. He was a bartender at DiamondJacks Casino.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland Lee Sr. and Mamie Lou Lee; two brothers, Grover Cleveland Lee Jr. and Arthur Joe Lee; and one sister, Jesstine Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Lee of Vicksburg; one son, Albert Harris of Vicksburg; three daughters, Jerutha Jiles of Las Vegas and Michelle Barnes and Stephanie Lee, both of Vicksburg; one brother, Woody Lee of Chicago; two sisters, Annie Mae Hall of Vicksburg and Aretha Walker of Chicago; nine grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Bobby Gene Lofton
INDIANOLA – Bobby Gene Lofton died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at his home in Indianola. He was 73.
Mr. Lofton was born in Skene, Miss. Before moving to Indianola in 1975, he lived in Vicksburg for more than 20 years and was employed at the Coca-Cola Bottling Co.
Mr. Lofton was one of the first licensed bow hunters in Mississippi. He owned and operated Lofton Longbows with his wife and had been involved with the crafting of archery equipment for more than 50 years. For the last 17 years, an annual tournament named in his honor has been held in Grenada by the Mississippi Traditional Archery Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee and Bertha Morgan Lofton; three brothers, J.B. Lofton, James C. Lofton and James Lofton; and two sisters, Edmonia Gibson and Edna Rickles.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Lofton of Indianola; three sons, Thomas Lofton of Sarasota, Fla., Kenneth Lofton of Excel, Ala., and Martin Lofton of Indianola; four daughters, Sandra Hausaman of Tampa, Fla., Pamela Lick of Jackson, Regina Gallaugher of Portland, Texas, and Stephanie Guzman of Indianola; one stepson, Wayne Bell of Leland; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mortimer Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow at Drew Cemetery in Drew. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home and Thursday from noon until the service.
Earline Pittman
UTICA – Earline Pittman passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 5, 2008, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg.
Earline was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Neshoba County and lived her life and raised her family and the children of many others in Utica.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Currie and her husband, Bob, of Utica; her sister, Bernice Dees of Neshoba County; her grandchildren, Karen Falgout, Brenda Jones and Jamie Currie; and her four great-grandchildren, Cole and Cade Falgout and Currie and Lee Jones.
Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur G. Pittman; her sister, Johnnie Adkins; and her brother, Earnest Kilpatrick.
Her family and loved ones will miss her kind spirit and wonderful cooking.
Visitation will be tonight from 5:30 until 7:30 at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. at the Utica Christian Church with the Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating. Interment will follow at the Utica Cemetery.
Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica is in charge of arrangements.
