The front doors of the church featured cones filled with larkspur, roses, lilies and aster. Family seats were marked with nosegays in mixed summer colors. Matching pairs of candelabrums, each accented with a cascade of summer flowers, were placed on each side of the altar area. A trio of ferns completed the setting. The unity candle, adorned in the bride’s chosen colors, was presented to the side of the altar.

Soloist Jenna McGee and pianist Steve Bennett presented selections for the ceremony. Mothers and grandparents were seated to Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.” Clarke’s “Trumpet Voluntary” was played for the processional, followed by Wagner’s “Bridal Chorus” for the bride’s entrance. McGee sang “How Beautiful,” along with “When You Say Nothing at All” for the lighting of the unity candle. The recessional was Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March.”
